Bereavement

The Bereavement Ministry needs your HELP!grief

What is Bereavement?

  • Bereavement is made up of individuals who will commit themselves in a caring way to journey in faith with the bereaved suffering in their loss within their community.

We are we looking for grief and care-giving volunteers who will:

  • Read at funeral masses (trained lectors)
  • Coordinate funeral masses and be present to assist families with parish arrangements
  • Lead Rosary vigils for families.
This is mainly for the English speaking community.
 
Note: Training is provided. The Vietnamese run their own Bereavement group, and we have volunteers who coordinate a Spanish language rosary.
