We are the young Vietnamese Catholics at St. John the Baptist in Costa Mesa, united with each other in a common mission: to celebrate our Catholic faith, to bring our involvement to the parish and community, and to provide an environment of welcome, hospitality, and nurture for Christian growth, leadership, and development. We are the Vietnamese Youth Ministry, founded by Fr. Pascal Nguyen Linh Bao since 2006.

Together we celebrate God’s love for us in the Eucharist. We organize the youth mass every third Saturday of the month. We gather for retreats to enrich our faith. We participate in social events that enable us to grow as a community in the stature of Christ.

Our Mission

To provide an inclusive and supportive environment where young adults can practice their Catholic faith.
To maintain a connection between generations of Vietnamese-American.
To instill a sense of belonging and pride in their Vietnamese-American heritage.
To encourage and empower young adults to participate in parish and community activities.
